What Kind of Wicks Are Best For Votive, Pillar & Container Candles?
I am making some nice, scented candles over the weekend. Just started with
candle making a week ago.
Hemp is the best material for votives, pillars & container
candles. It is a strong, natural fiber that produces rigid wicks for use
in candle making. These wicks stand up straight while burning.
This explains how to choose.

get the leaded wicks ( regular wick but with lead wire in the
middle) they burn longer
