How much gel should I buy to make approx. 50 average sized candles

l have never made gel candles before but wanna buy enough to make at least 
pebble
50 medium sized gel candles.l noticed it is sold by the pound.Anyone with

What do you consider medium sized? If the candle cup hold about  
Tootsie
1/2 cup volume then multiply that by 50 to get your amount, etc.
